30 Americans Exhibition Sponsored by Puma

We are so pleased to be a part of the Puma family, especially because of Puma sponsorship and involvement in exhibitions like 30 Americans. Organized and exhibited by the Rubell Family Collection in Miami, it's work by contemporary African American artists. Their collection is amazing and their collection mission is admirable.

Puma has been organizing events and designing products to promote the exhibition, one being the Reality Bag. TOO COOL. Now that's commitment to artists & the artistic process!

This is a painting by Nina Chanel Abney called Khaaliqua & Jeff, 2007.

Artist Jen Khoshbin

We don't remember signing up for Jen's emails, but we're glad we did! She works in mixed media and is a sort of sculptor. Check out these two works Wondery Boo and Swinging My Way Back which are both for sale on Etsy. Deborah Paine might have passed Jen along to Melinda, but we can't be sure.

Marina's new celluloid Bob Dodd ring

Isn't it lovely!?

Sad News

This here is a pic of Bob & Esther Dodd. A while back we had a post about super cool celluloid rings by Bob Dodd that Marina Granger told us about. Sadly, Bob passed away on November 25 at the age of 91. Here is the blog where he sold his rings. The blogger has tons o' info about him and an awesome blog too.
